West Seattle resident for 48 years. John Dowling died April 21, 2006.

Born in Kilkenny, Ireland he is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Isabelle and children, Kathleen, Terry and Tim, Family friend Tom and his beloved Himalayan chocolate point cat, Foxy.

Also surviving are his daughter-in-law Alycia, grandson, Kevin, granddaughter Amber, nephew Able Garcia of California and family members in Ireland and England.

John worked for Washington Iron Works for 34 years as a Boilermaker until his retirement in 1984.

At his request there shall be no services. Remembrances should be addressed to Group Health Hospice.
