79, born July 12,1926 in Cummings, North Dakota passed away July 4,2006 in Auburn, Washington. Eldest of eight, Ed joined the Navy at 17 serving in Mariana Islands during WWII. He married Eleanor Roell and raised three children in West Seattle. A local businessman, he operated Ed's Union 76, Texaco, and Phillips 66 and retired from Huling Brothers Buick. Ed was preceded in death by his wife (2000), brother Odin and sister Marie. He is survived by brothers Duane and Phil and sisters MaryAnn, Susie and Carol; his children Ron Roberts, Karen and husband Russ Rowlee and Julie Stein; six grandchildren Misty Roberts, Bruce Eklund, Ben and wife Carli Eklund, BrieAnna and husband Kyle Zwiep, Kyle and Steven Gilbert; three step-grandchildren Kevin, Jeff (& Kaden), and Stephanie Rowlee; four great-grandchildren Cedric, Abby, Aramis, and Payton Eklund.
