Elsie Last was born in Neustadt, Germany on August 6, 1917 and passed away peacefully in her home after a long battle with cancer in Seattle, Washington on July 6, 2006. She is survived by daughter, Ingrid (DiDi) Hoff, two grandsons; Bill (Melanie) Hoff and Ray Hoff and three grandchildren; Tony, Stephanie, and Rajon, two cousins and her long time friend, Fritz Langanka. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hans, in 1989.

Elsie was very active in the German Club, Salvation Army and Seattle Center Dancing.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Hope Lutheran Church, 4456 42nd Ave SW, Seattle. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Hope Lutheran Memorial fund in West Seattle.
