Harry Carlson long time resident of West Seattle passed away July 21st 2006 at Judson Park Healthcare Center in Des Moines at the age of 86.

He is survived by his loving wife Marie L. Carlson of 64 years, three daughters; Janet Starr (Doug) of Covington, June Oczkewecz (Mike) of West Seattle and Joanne Johnson (Steve) of Gig Harbor and seven grandchildren.

Harry was a WWII Veteran and served in Germany with the Timberwolfs 104th Infantry Div. He was a very loving, caring and hardworking husband and father. He will be missed greatly by his family.

In his retirement he enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Making many keepsakes for his daughters and grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday July 26th 2006 at Howden Kennedy Funeral Home in West Settle. Graveside services will follow at Forest Lawn. In lieu of flowers make donations to the American Lung Association.
