Joseph 'Joe' Freeman Morton of Chewelah, Washington died June 30, 2006 at the age of 67 years. Joe was born May 13, 1939 in Kinzoo, PA but was raised in the Seattle, Washington area where he attended West Seattle High School and Olympic Junior College. While attending high school Joe broke many state athletic records. Joe retired as a Brewer from Anhauser Busch in Van Nuys California. Joe loved sport, hi pets and his family. Joe is survived by his wife, Anne Morton o Chewelah, Washington, his sons Sean Morton and family of Orting Washington, Joshua Morton and family of Chewelah, Washington, and Kurt Stratmann and family of Lincoln, NE, his daughters Heidi Wulczynski and family of Chewelah, Washington, Katrina Tuttle and family of Cayucos, California, Erika Barnes and family of Morro Bay California and Marie Flores and family of Abilene, KS. He has fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Joe also left behind three sister; Betty Marsh and family, Sue Campbell and family and Mary Hutchings and family plus numerous nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his two sons; Brock and Gus, his parents and his brother Jack. A family get together will be held to honor Joe at a later date.
