Our dear mother was born on July 10, 1914 and went to be with her Lord on July 28, 2006. Out father, Bud preceded her in death in May, 2001- now they are together! Dorothy was born in Harrison, Arkansas and moved to Seattle when she was nine. She net out father at West Seattle Christian Church- where they were married on October 30, 1936. They continued to be residents of West Seattle until February 2000, when they moved to North Bend. Dorothy was a dear sweet and caring person-always ready to help family and friends. We'll always remember her smiling face! Dorothy leaves behind three daughters and their husbands: Carol and Dick Walker, Beverly and Elmo Lewis and Ellen and Bill Worline; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two brothers; James and Joe York; two sisters; Anna Hayden and Imogene Delaurenti. Memorial services were held at West Seattle Christian Church on August 4th- memorial can be given to the West Seattle Christian Church "building fund."
