Darlene passed away at age 63 after a brave battle with cancer. She was a long time resident of West Seattle until retiring to Elma about five years ago with her special friend, Bob Freeman. Darlene retired as a school bus driver after 17 years of service with Laid Law. She was a great fundraiser for the community and raised lots of donations for various charities. Darlene leaves behind her special friend Bob Freeman and his daughter, Mindy Freeman; brothers, Bill, Larry and Gerald Standfill; son, Roy, Curtis, Jr.; daughter, Debbie Stephens; grandchildren, Tasha Chadwick and Taylor Stephens; two great grandchildren, Devin and Haley Chadwick. At her request there will be no services. Her final resting place is at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
