John Oliver Christianson died peacefully in his sleep at a Fort Worth, Texas care center on December 5, 2006. He was born on April 30, 1928, the son of Oliver and Marjorie Christianson in Seattle, Washington. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1951 with a bachelor of arts in economics and business. After graduation he serve two years in the U.S. Navy. He started his 45 years of Sales with his one and only company Reynolds Aluminum in California in 1953. While living in San Francisco, CA he met his beloved wife of 47 years, Virginia Hope (Vandre). They married on May 27, 1959 in Nevada, and subsequently moved to West Seattle where they lived for 43 years along Beach Drive, Fauntleroy, and Alki Point. He was a loving and devoted husband and father of two boys. He loved living near the sea, and enjoyed all water activities, especially fishing. He moved to Mission Viejo CA in 2002, and finally to Franklin Park retirement community in Fort Worth Texas after the passing of his wife earlier this year He is survived by two sons, Craig Oliver Christianson, wife, Anne, granddaughter, Olivia Hope, and Kyle Edward Christianson of Fort Worth, Texas. Memorial service will he held Tuesday, December 12 at 3:30 p.m. at Mount Olivet North Chapel, Fort Worth, Texas.
