Frederick Paul Weisz

Born in Lebeny, Hungary to Michael and Elizabeth Weisz, Oct. 11, 1938. Won his battle with Lewy Body Dementia when he walked into the arms of his Lord on Good Friday, April 5, 2007.

Immigrated to the United States through Camp Kilmer, NY, in 1956 and moved to West Seattle the same year at 18 years of age. Married Claudia Minden in 1964. He took pride in his work as a brakeman/conductor for Northern Pacific and BNSF railroads for over 35 years.

He was a faithful member of the West Side Presbyterian Church choir and enjoyed assisting his son, Paul, coaching soccer at West Seattle High School upon his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Claudia, son, Paul (Amy), daughters Angie Weisz and Amy Yurk, and 6 grandchildren, Rachel, Elissa, Sarah, and Jacob Weisz, and Scarlett and Miles Yurk.
