At approximately 2:45 p.m. on March 20, officers responded to a reported armed robbery of a business in the 3200 block of Northwest 54th Street.
The suspect was described as a black male in his 40s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a gray jacket.
He was wearing a heavy black ski cap pulled low on his face and was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
The suspect took cash from the register and fled the scene.
Officers quickly contained the area and K9 attempted to track the suspect, but the suspect was not located.
This armed robbery occurred approximately 97-minutes after a similar armed robbery at a business located in the 13000 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast.
The suspect’s description in this incident closely matched the second incident .
