She enjoyed bowling, was a long time member of the West Seattle Eagles, a Den Mother for the cub scouts, a licensed hairdresser, and a gifted artist. She also loved painting, sewing, needlework, gardening, fashion design, QVC, and for the last 20 years hand-painting ceramic pieces with her closest friends.

There was a memorial on July 11 at the Alaska House where she lived for the last 12 years. The family thanks those who attended for their thoughts and prayers. Contributions can be made to the Seattle Union Gospel Mission.
