Job Title: Fund Development Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Working Conditions: Half-time position requiring occasional evenings and weekends
Salary Range: $16-$22/hr plus benefits
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Fund Development Manager will work primarily to engage and grow existing relationships with individuals and businesses to financially support DNDA's ongoing work in affordable housing, cultural arts programming, and civic engagement. In conjunction with the Executive Director, the Fund Development Manager will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward relationships with individual donors and business sponsors. S/he will work with the Communications Team to develop messaging, utilize frameworks and tools for effective fundraising outreach, assist with grant writing coordination and manage/document work using SalesForce online software. She or he will also play an active role in the designing and production of fundraising events alongside a highly capable Technical Production team. This position is non-exempt will be .5 FTE, with the potential to take on greater leadership and grow to full time.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Foster the individualized identification, cultivation, and solicitation of supporters;
Coordinate and schedule active fundraising by the Board of Directors and other volunteers;
Assist in implementing a grant writing framework;
Work alongside a diverse team in planning and producing a series of annual events with fundraising components;
Develop and maintain a professional system of fund development resources and records, including managing a Salesforce CRM implementation;
Work with Communications Team to develop branding, messaging and public relations for strategic fundraising
Minimum Qualifications - to be considered for the position, the candidate's application must demonstrate that he or she:
Shares a commitment to the mission of the organization and the vision and values reflected in its work;
Holds a B.A. in a related field (Business, Non-Profit Management, etc), and has significant experience in progressive fundraising leadership (some work experience may substitute for B.A.);
Has mastered the interpersonal skills and ability to engage a diverse community of supporters.; shows ability to work creatively and collaboratively, engaging others to participate in fundraising;
Is able to manage multiple details of large projects, events or campaigns;
Can use information and communication technology adeptly and independently;
Is enthusiastic about managing projects independently and working efficiently under deadline.
Can thrive in a vibrant, multigenerational and fast-paced work environment
The most competetive applicants will be able to:
Confidently communicate context community issues with diverse audiences;
Have experience with Salesforce, Raiser's Edge or other fundraising management or CRM software
Point to success in developing new models, leveraging unconventional resources, and "thinking outside the box";
Convey close familiarity with the Delridge Neighborhoods, White Center, and/or the broader West Seattle peninsula.

Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association is a non-profit organization working in and around the Delridge neighborhoods in Southwest Seattle. It was founded in 1996 to engage residents, businesses, and institutions in creating and maintaining a thriving Delridge community. Strategies and programs include developing and operating affordable housing and community facilities, operating the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, enhancing infrastructure for community health, and developing and supporting local grassroots leadership and initiative. DNDA is a lead partner with the White Center Community Development Association on the Strength of Place Iniative to ensure equitable development of the rapidly gentrifying White Center.
