
84, of West Seattle passed away peacefully on July 30, 2007, surrounded by her loving children. She was born on July 16, 1923 in Mushelshell, Mont. A daughter of Jack and Paulette O'Brian, she graduated from Roundup High School in Roundup, Mont. She worked as a rivet bucker for Boeing during WWII. She moved to West Seattle with her husband Harry William Draper in 1950.
Frances was a very social person, spending time with neighbors and friends, and even enjoyed chatting with strangers. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Senior Center and having coffee with her friends at Be's coffee shop in West Seattle. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. She was preceded in death by her husband and sister Bernice Dahl. Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Penny (Ed) Covey, Jim (Joann) Draper, Steve (Susan) Draper, and Susan Draper. Eight grandchildren; Pam, Glenn, Cindy, Stefanie, Matt, Brett, Kyle and Grant. Four great grandchildren; Nick, Kate, Maddie and Makenzie. One sister; Margie Robinson. Two brothers; Jack and Mike O'Brian and numerous nieces and nephews
A celebration of her life was held on Saturday, August 4 at 1 p.m., at West Seattle Baptist Church, 4157 California Ave S.W.
