The Ballard High School girls golf team was defeated 266-271 by Juanita April 22, ending a two-match win streak.

Coach Casey McMullin said the team put in a good performance and it was a close match, but Juanita's home-course advantage worked against the Beavers.

Ballard has a 2-3 record with two match left, starting with Mercer Island at 3:30 p.m. on April 27 at the West Seattle Golf Course.
