Alexander "Murray" White

Born February 13, 1925 in Sterlingshire, Scotland to Alexander and Catherine Wylie he dies recently in his beloved West Seattle "Alki" area.

Murray was a man of the world, residing in Buenos Aires, England and California. A veteran of WWII, Murray graduated from the University of Washington and was a proud member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He was also a member of CRI, Creative Retirement Institute.

Murray married Zena Nennsberg in 1954. Following a 40-year career in sales, he retired in 1993.

Preceded in death by his wife and parents, he is survived by cousin Alan (Lin) Wylie of Buchs, England, and numerous friends.

Services were held at Alki Homestead Restaurant where 2 years earlier he hosted his 80th birthday celebration. His very special 1982 bronze Cadillac still resides nearby, with permanent license frame reading: "Happiness is living at Alki!"
