A long time West Seattle resident passed away November 27th after complications from a brain aneurysm at Harborview Medical Center.
Born February 20, 1938 in Yakima, WA, Lee lived in West Seattle for more than 40 years in Alki Beach, Admiral District and the West Seattle Junction areas. Lee was an outstanding graphic artist and was Art Director at Jay Jacobs and the Bon Marche'. She also enjoyed teaching aerobics and other various classes at Hiawatha, High Point and Delridge Community Centers. Lee was also involved with the Northwest Boychoir. Raised in the Hawaiian Islands, Lee loved the sun and ocean. She graduated from Punahou High School on Oahu, attended the University of Arizona and graduated from the world renowned Chouinard Art Institute of Los Angeles. Lee loved family gatherings and especially the Christmas holidays with her family.
Lee is survived by her two sons Kevin Bailey and Geoff Drury; sisters Lynn Black and Leslie Heinz; and grandchildren Josh and Brianne Drury, Kyle,Brett,and Brooke Bailey.
