Alice Cramer, 100, of Bremerton peacefully passed away on Dec. 20 in Bremerton. She was born Dec. 9, 1907 in Clayton, Kan., to Rudolf and Lena Bolliger.
She was married to Chester E. Cramer for 54 years before he passed away on July 13, 1984. Alice was an operator and owner of Cramer's Grocery Store in Seattle. She also worked as a cook in the Seattle School District before she retired.
She was a life member of OES and bowled until the age of 92. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Alice will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.
She is preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, and one great grandson. Surviving are her son, Carl Cramer (Louise) of Bremerton, daughter, Sharon Skinner (Bob) of Missoula, Mont., four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A memorial service were held on Friday, Dec. 28 at 11 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel. Burial at Bonney-Watson Cemetery will be private.
