Robert Hale Clark

Robert Hale Clark, retired Seattle Firefighter, died Monday, January 7, 2008 in the comfort of his home surrounded by the love of his wife Charlotte.

Born on July 6, 1928, Bob was a lifelong West Seattle resident graduating from West Seattle High School in 1946, served in the Coast Guard and joined the Seattle Fire Department in 1958. During his service with the Seattle Fire Department, he presented the S.A.F.E. program in Seattle Schools.

Preceded in death by his brother John and sisters Marion and Janice.

Bob will be dearly missed by his loving wife Charlotte; son, Steven Rasmusson and his wife Karen of Redmond; daughter Robin Clark of Greensboro, N.C. Granddaughters, Sara and Stephanie Rasmusson will lovingly remember their Boopapa.

Also surviving are daughters Susan Goodner (Redding, Calif.) and Julie DeMercurio (Santa Rosa, Calif.); son Scott Clark (Santa Rosa, Calif.); granddaughter Madalyn Clark; and, nieces and extended family and friends.

He will be remembered and missed by his friends at the Fauntleroy YMCA.

Bob is best remembered as "one of a kind" for his wonderful sense of humor, which was a gift to all who knew and loved him.

A family memorial service has been held.
