What might have been a simple case of theft turned into a robbery last week at 35th and Morgan: Video captured two 15-year-olds shoving a convenience store owner and a third stabbing him three times. The victim suffered a laceration and puncture wound to the back of the head. Officers arrived at the bloody scene, and bystanders stated that the suspects had run into the High Point Library. Captured (one even confessed), the suspects—who had been trying to steal a couple of cases of beer—will be temporarily quenching their thirst at the Youth Service Center. No information was available on the store owner's condition.
Just after midnight Monday, a woman parked in a well-lit area of the Junction 7-11 lot. She locked her doors, but left her purse on the front seat. In just moments, another car pulled in, parked next to hers, someone smashed her passenger window, grabbed the bag, and then drove away. The suspect vehicle is a white, late-model SUV with chrome rims and dark, tinted windows, driven by a white male in his late twenties, with a thin build and short brown hair. His female companion was white, in her twenties, had a medium build and long brown hair.
A woman reports that around 10:30 Tuesday morning, she and her young son encountered a man exposing himself near Lincoln Park's south parking lot. He was black, aged 30-49, of medium build, and wore a hat and oversized, heavy clothing.
The highly intoxicated patron of the Alki-area eatery was unhappy when told he couldn't drink alcohol outside. He walked away for a moment but came back armed with brass knuckles and took a swing at the restaurant's bouncer. The swing missed, and tough guy dropped the knuckles in the process. He also dropped his pants: It seems that the brass knuckles also served as a makeshift belt buckle. The 20-year-old Spokane Valley resident was booked into King County Jail for investigation of use of a dangerous weapon.
