George Edris Austin, born June 1, 1918, died July 23, 2005.
An honorable man, he was born in Seattle to Signhild Lundberg and Herman Austin. He attended Lincoln High School and the University of Washington until entering the navy prior to World War II. He survived the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor; there are now only eight crew members from the battleship USS Maryland still surviving.

He is survived by his lovely and adoring wife and business partner, Suzanne Charlotte, and his brother Walter Raymond Austin.
George is remembered for being a loyal and loving husband and friend with his warm personality that endeared him to others.
