On Sept. 25, 2005, Frances passed away. She was born in Canada on Oct. 10, 1917, and became a U.S. citizen on Dec. 15, 1950.
She is survived by two sisters, Grace Weber of Ellensburg, and Myrtle Shaw of Seattle. She also leaves behind two children, Raleigh Sebring and Elaine Bond, both of Seattle. Frances has three grandchildren, Roy Wayne Bond of Bonney Lake, Will Burns of Seattle, and Darlene Richter of Puyallup. She has four and a half great-grandchildren, Jayden, Katie, Haeley, Chloe and Mia.
She will be missed by her whole family and many people in the community. She was an enthusiastic bowler. She started bowling in a league in 1952. She has bowled every season since. She has been a member of the WIBC bowling league for many years. She was going to start the league again this year. She also enjoyed playing bingo in a variety of halls in the south end of Seattle for many years. But above all her family always came first with her.
Her family will be holding a memorial service for her Oct. 8, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Highline Christian Church, 14859 First Ave. S. in Burien. Anyone that would like to attend is welcome.
