Dave Dean and Michelle Alexander and Becky and Colin Puckett will be washing cars on Aug. 21 at West Seattle Produce to help raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis.
Trust us, by next Saturday your car will be dirty again and that's just in time to take it to West Seattle Produce at 4721 Fauntleroy Way S.W. for the fundraiser for a team of bike riders washing cars and riding to raise funds to combat Cystic Fibrosis.
A car wash on that day from 11AM to 2PM is just part of the effort by a husband and wife team of Becky and Colin Puckett who are with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in downtown Seattle. There's a minimum $5 donation.
But they also participated in the Eurand Cycle for Life event in Woodinville that took them some 65 miles through Western Washington Wine Country. Becky reported, "We just got home from the ride. We completed the 65 miles in around 7 hours, this heat definitely didn't help us out at all. Can't wait for the carwash!"
The Puckett's have a personal goal of $1200 for their six person team.
Becky lost her brother to the disease when he was only 15 years old, in 2005.
