It is with great sadness that we tell of the sudden death of Chris on Feb. 14, 2006, at the age of 52.

Born Aug. 21, 1953, he was a lifelong resident of Tukwila, graduating from Foster High School. He spent many years as a commercial halibut fisherman in Alaska. Recently he had worked with HMS Host at Sea-Tac Airport, just receiving his five year award. He enjoyed being with his friends, loved music, movies, reading and even gardening.

He is survived by his three sisters, twin Teenie Dillinger (Dave), Vivian Bearden and Ginger Knutsen (Jack); his longtime friend Carol Kippen; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and an uncle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Dorothy Haney.

A Memorial Service will be held March 4, 2006, at 12:30 p.m. at Yarington's Funeral Home in Seattle.
