Sandra (Sandy) Campbell of Wishram, Wash., passed away unexpectedly July 12. She was born July 27, 1944, to Glen and Wilma Howell in Massena, Iowa.
She's survived by her husband, Ken Campbell, of 36 years; daughters Shelly (Chauncey) Johnston of Des Moines, and Kelly (Jerry) Van Dyke of Renton; grandchildren Hailey, David and Kerry; and sisters Mitzie (John) Kerslake of Corbett, Ore., Patsy Fifer of Wishram, Wash., and Norma (Skip) Carsey of Goldendale, Wash. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Gary Howell.
Sandy lived most of her life in Burien where she raised her family. She loved holidays and decorations. She'd always have the house, yard and Antique shop decorated. Especially at Christmas, her favorite. She worked as a Beautician until moving to Wishram, Wash., in 1999. There she took on a new adventure with Ken, working and running the town's only retail businesses.
She'll be greatly missed by all who have met her. A Celebration of her Life was held July 15, 2006, in Wishram at Train Park.
