Kenneth I. McINTYRE

Kenneth I. McIntyre, born in Seattle Dec. 16, 1941, died Sept. 25, 2006, from a battle with cancer.

He was a lifetime Burien resident, graduated from Highline High School and entered the Marine Corp in 1962. He worked at Boeing and was currently employed at the United States Postal Service as a truck driver. He was an avid sports fan and loved fishing and restoring old Fords.

He is survived by his son Jason L. McIntyre; granddaughter Brittany Marie; brothers Harvey (Laverne) and Joseph (Candice); nieces and nephews; and many friends. His parents Helen Ilene (Collins) and Harvey Herbert McIntyre preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Burien Eagles, 920 S.W. 150th St., where a memorial will be held on Oct. 7 at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be at a later date at Tahoma Military Cemetary.
