Dorothy J. Limbert, age 82, died on Oct.12, 2006, in Burien. Born on August 23, 1924, in Elk, Wash., she has resided in the Seattle area for over 60 years, and for the last 50 years in the house she shared with her husband, Harvey.
She attended Washington State College (now University) where she studied home economics, and went on to work at The Boeing Company and Sand Point Naval Station, serving as a computer programmer. She enjoyed many activities, including camping, square dancing, painting, and writing stories during the later part of her life.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Harvey C. Limbert, whom she met in the 7th grade. Dorothy is also survived by two children, Jonna (Larry) Blakley, of Seattle, and Tim (Robin) Limbert, of Toledo, Ore.; five grandchildren, Lisa Ogden, Jeff Blakley, Rachele Blakley, Janna Limbert, and Patrick "Packy" Limbert; five great-grandchildren, Ashley, Joel, Dalton, Nicholas, and Alivia; and two sisters, Katherine Pulliam, of Valley, Wash., and Bonnie Haener, of Grangeville, Idaho.
Private services were held. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society. Arrangements were entrusted to Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac.
