Nola Penhan died January 11, 2007.
She was born February 16, 1923, to Lois Osborn. She was raised by her grandparents and the Irwins in Bellingham.
Nola was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She tenderly cared for her family and friends, always having a kind word and a funny joke for everyone she met. She was an active church member, having taught Sunday school and participated in church sewing circles. She was loved by all who met her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Cappy Pehan; four daughters, Judy Heiland, Candy Elmer, Pam Pehan and Rebecca Donnelly; sons-in-law George Heiland, Bob Elmer and Michael Donnelly; grandchildren Scott (wife, Colleen), Katie Heiland, Melisa DeMeerleer, Mindy Breiner (husband, Mike), Jamila Wasson-Pehan, Megan Elmer, Briene, Molly and Hannah Donnelly; and great-grandchildren Bridget, Tara and Ian Heiland, Phoebe DeMeerleer, Kailee Ryan, and Ellen Breiner.
A Funeral was held on January 16 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in SeaTac.
