The Mission – Latin Restaurant & Lounge, West Seattle’s Admiral District neighborhood cantina, celebrates its six year anniversary, serving Latin influenced fare in a fun, neighborhood environment.
Since 2005, Mission has strived to offer a warm, inviting atmosphere coupled with a community feeling. Mission offers a menu made from scratch, including house-made tortillas and tamales, many vegetarian and vegan options, and an extensive gluten-free menu. Mission also welcomes families and offers and several options for kids for just $5 each.
“We are very excited to be celebrating our six year anniversary here in West Seattle. We worked very hard to create a relaxed neighborhood environment that also feels like special experience. We want to thank our customers and the entire neighborhood for supporting us and helping us reach this milestone. We are really excited about the future and the direction of the neighborhood in the Admiral District and we feel grateful to be a part of it," said Cozen.
The focal point of the 110-seat space is the commanding bar, backed by a full wall of spirits, including over 100 varieties of tequila. High ceilings coupled with candlelit, cozy private booths tucked under the mezzanine create a perfect place for a dinner date or a happy hour gathering with friends.
The upstairs mezzanine includes a private bar, and a cocktail area with leather couches and a plasma TV. Mission can also accommodate large groups for dinner, and the entire mezzanine is available for rental for special events. Mission – Latin Restaurant & Lounge was conceptualized by two Seattle natives Eric Cozens and Peter Morse.
“It’s our amazing staff that makes Mission so special. Many of them have been with us for years, and a few have been here since day one," said Cozens.
Open to diners seven days a week for dinner (4pm-10pm), with Happy Hour everyday.
