Rumors Fly this Spring with Twelfth Night Productions starting March 25

Press Release:
America’s premier comic playwright Neil Simon delights with a laugh out loud comedy of class and cover-ups in Twelfth Night Productions latest offering, Rumors. Four couples are invited to the townhouse of a deputy New York City mayor and his wife to attend a party celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary.
The party never gets started as the guests soon discover that the staff and hostess are missing and the host has shot himself in the earlobe. Comic complications arise when his lawyer’s cover-up of what may or may not have been a suicide attempt gets progressively more difficult to sustain as the other guests arrive and no one can remember who has been told what about whom.
In true farcical fashion, doors slam and hilarity abounds as the couples get increasingly crazed in an effort to conceal the evening’s events from the local media and police. The New York Times described Rumors as “a farce with nothing on its mind except making the audience laugh.”
Rumors runs in a special limited engagement at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, March 25, 26 and April 1 and 2 at 7:30 PM and March 27 and April 3 at 3 PM. Tickets are available online at Brown Paper Tickets, and at the Youngstown Box office, 4408 Delridge Way SW, Seattle WA, on performance days. Prices are $15 for adults and $12 for students & seniors.
