Sheila Joy Norton, born in Grandview, Wash., August 7, 1932, passed peacefully in Des Moines on September 27, 2007.

She is survived by her children, Joy (Butch), Paul, Valerie (Steve), Tina (George) and Lisa (Dominic); 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pearl and Pauline; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by the love of her life of 51 years, James Daniel, in 2003.

She retired from the Post Office in 1992. She was a longtime member of the Daughters of Norway, Sons of Norway, Sweet Adelines and a lifetime member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation was held Oct. 2 at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial in SeaTac. A Funeral Services was held October 3 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, SeaTac.
