Labrecque

Mrs. Connie Marlene (McCorkle) Labrecque, 49, of Naugatuck, Connecticut, died suddenly Sept, 15, 2007, at her home. She was the wife of Daniel D. Labrecque, a former employee of Uniroyal Chemical.

She was born March 26, 1958, in Renton, the daughter of Carol McFarlane of Des Moines and Gary McCorkle of Kennewick. Connie was an avid reader and worked part time for a while at Barnes & Noble Books and Walden Books. She enjoyed her furry companions Iggy, Rufus and Teddy. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She graduated from Mount Rainier High School. She attended Naugatuck Valley Community Church, where she and her husband are members. She participated in many church activities.

Besides her husband of 29 years, she leaves a son, Airman 1st Class Justin M. Labrecque of Keesler AFB, Mississippi; a daughter, Jennifer L. (Labrecque) Kane and husband, Airman 1st Class Daniel J. Kane of Beale AFB, California, and grandson Sean J. Kane; a brother, Stacy McCorkle and wife, Shea, of Richland, grandmother Carly Waymoth of Des Moines, six nephews, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel McCorkle
