Curtis grew up in Normandy Park and worked for many years with his father at Butherus Construction until he decided to venture out on his own and move to Alaska. Curtis created a wonderful life for himself in Alaska for many years and then decided to return to the Seattle area. Once home again he remained with his father at Butherus Construction until an injury forced him to take off his nail bags.
His dedication, loyalty and love for his family and friends never wavered and his sense of humor kept us all together.
Service was held at Bonney-Watson Parker Chapel in Burien on Nov. 8. Burial followed at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton.
In lieu of flowers, donate to someone in need, even if it's just a smile.
