Gillette

Carol Jane Gillette, 85, passed away on October 5, 2007.

Born to William Leroy and Stella Hogan, she grew up in Silverdale and attended the Clear Creek School and had many fond memories of that place and time. She married the love of her youth, Douglas H. Gillette, and they moved to Burien in 1947 where they raised their three children. She was long-time resident of the same house until 2004.

Her last years were spent with her daughter, Alison Rose, in Dixon, Mont.

She was preceded in death by Douglas in 1968 and a son, Jon, in 2004. Surviving children are a daughter, Alison, and son, Bill, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and services will be held this spring in Washington.
