Jane Frances Gauthier

Jane Frances Gauthier, 82, of Seattle, passed away January 17, 2008. She was born June 9, 1925, in Sterling, Illinois, and moved to Washington when she was 11.

As a young woman, Jane worked as a riveter at Boeing and for the telephone company. She took great pride in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jane was also a Soprano for the local Choralette singing group. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading good books, playing cards, listening to classical music, watching her Soaps, going to garage sales, and thrift-store shopping to find treasures for others. She loved trees and hated to see any cut down. Jane had a wry sense of humor and a sharp memory for facts and details.

Her husband, Peter, preceded her in death. Jane lives on through her daughter Ann (George Cline), son Mike (Helen), son Mark, daughter Catherine (Larry Godsey), son Anthony, daughter Loretta (Kevin Concannon), son Patrick, son Thomas, and her two sisters: Anne Linke and Terese Cottone, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at Yarington's Funeral Home. Contributions can be made in memory of Jane to the Spina Bifida
