Ella June Mihelich went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 27, 1924, in Fremont, Nebraska, to James Earl and Ella Irene (Gayton) Sylvis.

She is survived by her husband, John Mihelich, siblings Betty Lakeman (Al) and Jerry Sylvis (Margie) of South Dakota, her children Paula Letson (Les) of Deerlodge Montana, Richard Burright (Janet), and Barbara Taylor (Michael) of Seattle, James Burright (Pam) of Ellensburg, and stepson John Mihelich (Jeanette) of Covington, 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ella Sylvis, her siblings James and Fred Sylvis, Margee Fine, and son Michael Means.

In her early years, Ella worked as a phone operator and a waitress. Once her children were born she became a homemaker. She baked the best cinnamon rolls, cookies and pies, and loved spending time with her friends and family.

The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Sharon, Margaret and all the staff at the Taylors Adult Family Home for the wonderful care they gave to Ella.
