Robert (Bobby D.) Dickerson Sr. born April 3, 1928 in
Grand Island, Nebraska, died peacefully at home January
10, 2009. Bobby D. was a strong-willed man who battled
cancer for 25 years. He kept his wry sense of humor all
the way to the end. He wasnt perfect, but he was
excellent. Bob attended Ballard High School and was
honorably discharged from the Army in 1947. He will be
missed by family and friends from all walks of life. He is
survived by his brother and sister, 6 children, 6
grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews. There will be a celebration of life April 4,
2009. Location and time to be announced at a later date.
