Marvin Wesley Swenson passed away on June 13, 2009. He was born on October 22, 1915 in Keene North Dakota. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma, of 63 years. My dad had been a commercial fisherman all his adult life except for the time he was in the navy for 2 yrs. He lived in Ballard until they moved to Ellensburg, Wa. My dad  had been in a care home in Cle Elum after the death of my mom in 2005.

Marvin leaves behind his daughter, Jo Anne Swenson of Kelseyville, CA. Grandsons, Mark Moran, wife Roni, of Craig Alaska, Eric Moran, wife Jennifer of Camano Island, Wa granddaughter, Tammy Moran of Mukilteo, Wa. Kimberly Johnson of Lynnwood, Wa. Great grandchildren Justin Moran of Craig, Alaska and Megan Farnsworth of Mukilteo. He also leaves a sister Beatrice Sivertson of Watford City ND and numerous nieces and nephews. There was no service at his request.  Memorial for the family will be held at later date.
