Blanche A. Crawford, 89, passed away 8/11/09. in Bellingham, Wa with her daughter, Janice Trafton. Blanche was
raised on a small dairy farm in Mt Vernon, Wa with parents Ida Johnson
and William Carlson, both Swedish immigrants. Brother Ed Carlson
and sister Ellen Smith, husbands Ramon A Trafton and Merwyn Crawford preceded her in death. Blanche will be greatly missed by her daughter
Jan, son Robert R. Trafton (Rose), nephew Bruce
Ketchum (Mildred), granddaughters Jewell Hilker, Christy Kolbeck, Debby Costa. Lesa Trafton and Theresa Myers, plus 8 great-grandchildren and one great great grandson. Companion Joseph Perna was a
special blessing during Blanche’s last 15 years.

Blanche owned a beauty shop on Leary Ave in the 1950s and lived on
Crown Hill for 35 years . She loved her pets & gardening. Visiting
family in Sweden and Finland was the highlight of her life.

Memorial service August 20, 1:00 p.m., Evergreen Washelli, west side.
