Lori Ann Brandt

Born Jan. 25, 1955 in Seattle, WA. Passed away April 15, 2008 in Anacortes, WA after a long, courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Born to Russell Franklin Brandt and Odelia Joanne Knowles. Survived by mother and stepfather Joanne and Donald Blankenship of Anacortes, WA; sisters Leigh (John) Krog of Dallas, TX and Lynn (David) Parke of Pacific, WA. 3 nephews, Nathan Krog, Brandt and Adam Parke. Stepbrothers, Donald, Jeffrey and Mark Blankenship and stepsister Barbara Blankenship. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Graduate of Chief Sealth High School, Class of 1973. Attended Highline Community College and the University of Washington where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. Lori’s family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Robert Raisch, the Oncology Unit at Island Hospital and the wonderful staff from Skagit Hospice Services. Lori was West Seattle Miss HiYu and competed in the Miss Seafair pageant. Employed by Nordstrom for 15 years then Starbucks for 14 years where she loved her job and was an inspiration to those around her.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008 at United Methodist Church, located at 2201 H Avenue, Anacortes, WA 98221. Service begins at 11:00 a.m.
