Ethel Louise Leonard, longtime resident of West Seattle, passed away on August 4, 2008 at Providence Mt. St. Vincent, surrounded by her loving family. Ethel was aged 107. She was born March 24, 1901 in Cumberland, Maryland. She leaves behind two daughters, Shirley Johnson of West Seattle and Dorothy Reinhardt of Hawaii. Two children, Charles Leonard and June Leo, preceded her in death. She has eight grandchildren, Floyd, Kimberle, Linda, Wayne, Nancy, Cheryl, Bonnie and Larry, and ten great-grandchildren, Travis, Jennifer, Charlie, Kenneth, McKenzie, Brandon, Kelli, Chad, Kyle and Larry.

There will be a Memorial service at the Mt. St. Vincent chapel, 4831 35th Avenue SW, on Saturday, August 16 at 1PM, with a reception following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross or Swedish Hospice.
