Harry G. Gustafson

Harry Gustafson was born in Ballard, WA on Sept. 24, 1911 and passed away on Nov. 13th at the age of 97.  He joins Dorothy Gustafson, his beloved wife of 67 years, who died Nov. 21, 2004.

Harry was a caring and attentive father to his daughters Karen Estlick of West Seattle and Judith Gustafson of Lynnwood.  He was the proud grandfather of Kimberly Leidholm, Craig Leidholm, Christopher Tomulty and Heather Kelly.  Great grandfather of Matthew and Christian Leidholm and Sofia and Pearl Tomulty. Nieces are Patty Young, JoAnna Williams, Lynne Levin and Christy Ugarticha.

Harry retired in 1976 as Supervisor at the North Service Center for Seattle City Light after 27 years.  He was a Past Master of Ark Masonic Lodge #126 and a member of the Scottish Rite and the Nile Shriners.

Harry and Dorothy were members of Fauntleroy Community Church in West Seattle for over 50 years and the Fauntleroy YMCA where he pioneered the Senior Exercise Class 20 years ago.

Harry's kind and gentle ways will live on with the many people his life touched over the years.  He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service was held November 30th at 3:00 p.m. at Fauntleroy Church, 9260 California Ave S.W., Seattle, WA 98136.
