Harold "Larry" Rehkopf

Harold Loer REHKOPF

Age 89, of Seattle passed away peacefully December 19,
2008.  Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Vivian
Rehkopf of West Seattle, and three children, Larry
(Joanne) Rehkopf, Sallie Jo (Steven) Cross  and Robert
(Danine) Rehkopf , all of Seattle. Also surviving are two
grandsons, David (Nicole Angiel) Rehkopf of Berkeley,
California and Jon (Megan Kelton-Rehkopf) Rehkopf of
Seattle and three great-grandchildren, Hans, Cleo and
Sonja and many nieces and nephews.  

Born July 24, 1919 to Lawrence and Eva Rehkopf in Seattle,
Washington.  Graduated from the University of Washington
in 1942 in Electrical Engineering.  During WW II helped
develop radar at MIT. Engineer at Boeing for 33 years,
retiring in 1978.  Harold was a very industrious man,
having designed and built the family home in West Seattle
where he and his wife resided over 50 years.

Harold was a much loved husband, father, grandfather and
great-grandfather and will be greatly missed.  The family
wishes to thank the staff at Park West Care Center for the
wonderful care they provided to Harold.
