Preceded by Arlene L. Brown, wife of 55 years.  Survived by sons Cory (Debbie) Brown and Chris Brown, brother Gerald Brown, sisters and brothers-in-laws, grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Retired from city of Seattle and Army National Guard.
He was a long time volunteer of- Boy Scouts of America; Scout Master, OA, Woodbadge, Commissioner and recipient of Silver Beaver and  WA State National Guard Historical Society, Secretary, COL (retired).
He was loved dearly and a cherished friend to many.  His generous spirit will be missed but never forgotten.
 At his request there will be no memorial service.  In lieu of flowers please send donations to WA State National Guard Historical Society.  Camp Murray, WA  98430-5056.
