The Summer Concert at Hiawatha for Thursday Aug. 11 features the band Yogoman Burning Band, and those attending can look forward to "a bit of reggae, a bit of soul and a lot of attitude."
From their website:
YBB has won the heart of the northwest corner populace, taking awards for Best Band by Cascadia Weekly for 2 years, and Best Booty Shakin’ Music from What’s Up Music Magazine (Bellingham's only music rag) for the past 5 years. YBB has toured with Iron and Wine, and shared the stage with RJD2, Dengue Fever, the Cave Singers, Heliosequence, Clinton Fearon, etc. and collaborated live on stage with Geologic of Blue Scholars, Pato Banton, Winstrong, Junior Reid, and many other live musicians. YBB is building a strong name by regularly touring the West coast, Western States, and growing outward from there."
