Born in Seattle,WA, Jackie passed away on her 87th birthday surrounded by her loving family. Jackie was a lifelong West Seattle resident. She graduated from West Seattle HS in 1943 and married her high school sweetheart, Ralph “Bud” Benefiel.

Jackie enjoyed being a Camp Fire Girls leader. She sang with the Sweet Adelines, and was an avid, competitive Bridge player. Jackie and Bud started the Midnighters Dance Club.

Upon retirement they moved to Whidbey Island, where Jackie was very successful selling Avon.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bud; children, Linda, Larry (Melrose), and Debbie (Larry); 6 grandkids, 9 great-grandkids, and a great-great-granddaughter.

A memorial will be held October 6th, 11am at West Side Presbyterian Church, 3601 California Ave. SW (206-935-4477), reception following.
