On Tuesday, Sept. 6 Denny International Middle School will open, with only the fields, tennis courts and sports complex on the site of the former school left to complete.
The $50 million project began in 2008 with the construction, and makeover of Sealth International High School which would result in the joint campus between the two schools.
The opening event will officially start at 1:00 pm with the ribbon cutting by Dr. Susan Enfield, interim Superintendent of Seattle Public Schools but before that she will outline priorities and highlights of the upcoming year.
Following the ribbon cutting, a tour will follow for the public.
