Coinciding with National Fashion Night Out on September 8, Stella & Dot stylists Dana Litt and Heather Hedemann are hosting The Ballard Beauty Bash, an event that promotes style, beauty, local business, and stewardship in the Ballard community.

Hosted at BalMar Restaurant, the event will feature a fashion show, debuting Stella & Dot's the fall jewelry and handbag collection.

Promoted as a "night of beauty, pampering, raffle give-aways, and much more", the event aims to promote local Ballard businesses and to encourage customers to frequent local business and give back to the community.

The event will benefit the Ballard Food Bank as 10 percent of the sales will be donated to the Food Bank.

Additionally, merchandise form local businesses will be given out in a raffle and all attendees who bring items or money for the Ballard Food Bank will be receive a free raffle ticket.

Prizes include items from Savour, Sip & Ship, Fitness 19, Habitude, and more.

The Ballard Beauty Bash runs from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, September 8 at the BalMar Restaurant,
5449 Ballard Avenue NW.
