Deputy shoots man with knife
On September 2 at about 10:50 p.m. two sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call about a man assaulting his wife in the 10000 block of Des Moines Memorial Drive. Deputies had also responded in August 2010 to a domestic violence call at the same apartment. That incident resulted in the arrest of the man on domestic violence charges. The 36-year-old man is a convicted felon with two assault 3rd degree convictions. There is a current No Contact Order in place prohibiting contact between the man and his wife and children. The man had a knife and was reportedly assaulting his wife when the deputies arrived. The Sheriff's deputy, who fired the shot, is a 25-year veteran officer. The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center and was listed in critical condition.

At least 20 cars vandalized in SeaTac
Dozens of car owners in SeaTac woke up Sept. 8 to find their vehicles damaged. Police said somebody went on a vandalism spree around 2 a.m. in the intersection of 32nd Ave. S. and S. 180th St. Several cars had their windows smashed in. Dispatchers said at least 20 cars were damaged. No one was hurt. So far, there are no suspects in the case.

Alaska Airlines biting passenger
A 39-year-old Alaska Airlines passenger was arrested after biting a crewmember. The passenger rushed the exit shortly after landing and as crewmembers were trying to subdue the man he bit one of them. The passenger was evaluated at Highline West Seattle Mental Health Center then taken to King County Jail. The crewmember was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
