Unified Outreach will offer 2012 Festival of Animation at the Admiral Theater

Unified Outreach a charity that provides arts programs to students will be producing the 2012 festival of animation; 10 cartoon, animation, and video shorts set to the music of local artists and featured in a 2 hour big screen presentation at the Historic Admiral Theater in West Seattle later this year.

Unified Outreach is a 501c3 recognized charity that provides unique arts programs to schools, community centers, transitional housing facilities, youth shelters, and churches interested in providing industry level instruction to children in under-served neighborhoods of Greater Seattle.
Their mission is to assist at-risk, inner city, disabled, and underserved youth with personal growth and character building using the Arts for informational outreach and the promotion of positive self esteem.
In addition to free classes and workshops Unified Outreach also presents a community showcase once each year allowing youth to conceive, plan, and execute a unique industry-level production of their choosing.
In order assist with the showcase King County 4Culture donated $5000.00 worth of computer equiptment; for which Adobe Systems, Inc. has provided 10 copies of the Adobe Suite production software.
You can also attend the Open House on Sunday, March 25, 2012 (3-5pm) at the Ginomai Art Center at 4401 42nd Ave SW, West Seattle, 98116. You are encouraged to invite any youth (ages 12-18) whom you may know that has an interested in cartoon animation or video production.
Please come, tour the facility, and speak with volunteers and students about the program itself. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
