Car fire spreads to house
Just before 9 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12, Tukwila Fire department responded to a reported car fire in the 13500 block of 35th Ave South. First arriving units reported a fully involved car fire that was extending to a single-family residence. The crews acted quickly, putting a good stop to the spread of the fire. Damage to the home was mostly on the exterior. A family of two adults and four children occupied the house. All occupants got out of the house safely. There was one minor injury to one of the occupants as she was exiting. Crews quickly confirmed no one else was in the house. Investigators are now investigating the cause of the fired, which hasn't been determined yet.

Normandy Park man arrested for alleged double shooting
A 27-year-old Normandy Park man was arrested on Feb. 15 for suspicion of shooting two people, including a 15-year-old boy, in South Seattle on Jan. 26. The double shooting occurred at a gas station in the 9100 block of Rainier Avenue S. The suspect allegedly opened fire on the two, hitting the teen in the torso and a 29-year-old man in the back. Seattle Police gang detectives worked with Normandy Park officers in locating the suspect’s home. As he walked outside to get into his car, detectives moved in and made the arrest.

Suspect info released in Burien home invasion robbery
The King County Sheriff’s Office released information on three suspects they hope to track down in the Feb. 8 home invasion robbery of a woman living on the 13500 block of 6th Ave SW in Burien. The suspects stole cash, credit cards and the woman’s car before dumping the vehicle after the crime.

They are described as follows:
Suspect #1- Black female, 40 years of age, 5’9”, heavy build. She was last seen wearing a Drew Brees #9 Saint’s Jersey, black jacket, jeans and she carried a floral Hello Kitty cloth backpack.
Suspect #2- Black male, 17-19 years of age, 5’10”, thin build, medium length hair, and was last seen wearing a dark hoodie, jeans, and he carried a blue backpack. This suspect referred to suspect #1 as his “mother.”
Suspect #3- Hispanic male, 15 years of age, 5’0”
